Money Printer Privacy

Last updated July 29, 2026.

The short version

Money Printer does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, pay details, job names, schedules, goals, session history, receipts, or recaps. Those details stay on your Mac. Money Printer has no account, advertising, or cross-app tracking.

Data stored on your Mac

Your settings and earnings history are stored in local app storage. Signed trial access and direct-edition license state are stored in the macOS Keychain. Files are accessed only when you choose to import or export them. Removing the app does not necessarily remove Keychain items or exported backups; you can delete exported files yourself and contact support for help locating local data.

Idle reminders and notifications

If you enable idle reminders, Money Printer reads only the elapsed time since the last keyboard or pointer event while an earnings session is active. It does not record keys, pointer activity, apps, windows, or screen content. An idle reminder never pauses, trims, or changes earnings. Optional goal-completion and weekly-recap notifications are generated locally and use generic text unless you explicitly enable detailed previews.

Three-day trial

To provide one three-day trial per Mac and release channel, both editions create a random installation identifier. When a trial starts or refreshes, the app sends that identifier, the release channel, and the applicable trial dates to TheAvgDev's Cloudflare-hosted trial service. The service stores the identifier, trial start and expiration dates, and whether Apple device protection was available. It does not receive your name, email address, Apple ID, license key, pay information, hardware serial number, or MAC address.

When Apple's DeviceCheck service is available and enabled for Money Printer, an ephemeral Apple device token may be relayed to Apple to query and update a trial-used marker. TheAvgDev does not store that token. Cloudflare and Apple process these requests to provide and secure the trial service.

Purchases, licensing, and updates

The direct edition uses Stripe Managed Payments and Link for checkout. After purchase, TheAvgDev's Cloudflare-hosted license service receives the Stripe checkout and payment identifiers, stores a keyed hash rather than the raw license key, and associates up to three random installation identifiers when you activate, validate, or deactivate Macs. It does not receive your payment-card details, pay information, job data, goals, or app history. The direct edition also contacts the public Sparkle update feed to check for updates. The Mac App Store edition uses Apple StoreKit to start its free trial, complete its one-time purchase, verify access, and restore purchases. Stripe, Link, Apple, and Cloudflare process the applicable requests under their own privacy policies.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your Mac until you remove it. The service retains pseudonymous trial-eligibility and direct-license records for as long as reasonably necessary to administer trials, deliver purchases, enforce activation limits, process refunds or disputes, investigate abuse, and meet legal obligations. It is not used for advertising or analytics. To request access to or deletion of a server-side record, email support@bair.dev. Some information may be retained when necessary to prevent fraud, protect the service, honor a transaction record, or comply with law; support will explain any such limitation.

Questions and changes

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@bair.dev. Material changes to this policy will be reflected on this page with a revised update date.
