Where is the app?

Money Printer lives in the macOS menu bar. Look for the banknote icon; it intentionally does not keep a Dock icon.

Are the totals exact?

No. They are estimates based on the pay and schedule information you enter, and may differ from payroll because of overtime, benefits, withholding, unpaid time, and rounding.

Back up or move data

Open Settings → General → Backup. The exported JSON backup works with both editions. Money Printer does not have an account or cloud restore, so keep exported backups somewhere safe.

Mac App Store trial and purchase

Select Start 3-Day Trial to unlock every feature for 72 hours. The trial is not a subscription and does not automatically charge you. Full Unlock is a separate $3.99 one-time purchase. If you already bought it, select Restore Purchases in the purchase screen or Settings → About.

Direct-edition trial and activation

The direct edition includes a three-day free trial with no card required. You can enter the license key from your purchase receipt at any time in Settings → About. One purchase supports up to three activated Macs. Temporary network outages do not disable an already activated copy.

What to include in a support request

Include your Money Printer version, macOS version, release channel (Mac App Store or Direct), what you expected, and what happened. Do not send pay history, license keys, exported backups, or other sensitive information unless support specifically requests a safe diagnostic.
